Today's theme from DEEP is Empower

DEEP – Phinshire's motto - means "Discover Empower Emerge Play". Here is March’s weekly coaching/blog series which continues from the DEEP Truth of the Month for March: Paying attention reveals opportunities.

Aha-phrodite Muse (from Jill Badonsky’s Nine Modern Day Muses and a Body Guard - Image/card also created by Jill) would like to share what paying attention is not.

Paying attention is not being “caught up in the mind’s default function of worry, preoccupation with the past, projection of the future, judgment, commentary, comparison, never-enough-dom, we are not present enough to see just what exactly is real in the moment.”

What do you make of this statement?  What is your reaction?  Notice, just notice.

How can you empower yourself?

An ARTsignment™ to Try:

May I invite you to write yourself a letter, written from the perspective of yourself as 80 plus year old.  Feel free to write about things that have not happened yet, in your actual life.  You get to consider some of these prompts if you wish;

- What have been the highlights in your lifetime related to you living a life of what worked?
- How did this make a difference to your life?
- Do you have any regrets related to not paying attention to what worked?  If so, what?
- What is ‘the secret of what worked?
- Anything else that you would like to share with her?

When you read your letter back, what are you noticing?
How can this help empower you, today?

You may decide to put the letter in an envelope and go back to it in one, two, three, six months time.

Right now, you are empowering yourself to be the person you really deserve to be.  Enjoy!

I invite you to reply with a comment to share what you notice when you experience this letter.

Love

Liz
