DEEP Truth: Three of Four
This month is all about love, and
loving yourself starts with liking yourself. If liking/loving yourself is on
your agenda, how would it be to consider approaching 3 people that you respect,
you know will be honest and you can trust to ask them 3 questions about
you.
This is not easy, however in
strengthening the connection of love for yourself this exercise could enhance
your knowledge and eventually your belief.
Trust me, this is the DEEP truth of the week. J
Give it a go and if 3 people are too
much try one person and one question.
Please may I suggest that when the person gives you the feedback, could
you try saying "thank you", instead of making a comment about their
comment. This may not be easy for you. How about you practice saying thank you, just
thank you. Just know that this may be a
challenge or not. If you knew someone
else was dealing with discomfort and having courage to try something new, what
would you say to them and then tell yourself this.
You may want to share that you are
practicing a new thing and feel uncomfortable with asking, knowing that they
probably have not been asked questions like this before. What a great way to develop together!

What is one
thing that you like about me? Why?
What would be one thing that you think I need to hear that would help me like/love/value you myself? Why?
When has
there been a time when you have noticed that I have liked/loved/valued
myself? Ask for a clear example, so that
you can connect to what it felt like.
